The intent of the RFP is to retain a qualified, multi-disciplinary consulting team specializing in landscape architecture and engineering services and/or other relevant professional disciplines that will undertake all aspects to deliver this project. The retained vendor will require the expertise to lead the project management, background technical investigations (including the review and integration of existing technical due diligence studies that have been completed) to develop the rail to trail detailed design to 30% and construction cost estimates. This contract will allow for the awarded vendor to have the opportunity to provide the detailed design services (60%, 90% and 100% detailed design submissions) and construction tender documents/drawings for the capital development of the Caledon Rail Trail should the Town activate this Provisional Work.
