The Town of Caledon (the “Town”) is seeking the services of a qualified Consultant to update floodplain mapping within the Bolton area, focusing on the Plunkett Creek and West Humber River tributaries. The project includes updating the hydrologic model, conducting 2D hydraulic modelling, and preparing new floodplain maps in accordance with federal and provincial technical guidelines. The study area includes lands within the Bolton Special Policy Area and areas affected by spill hazards. This work supports the Town’s ongoing Secondary Plan development and is intended to meet the requirements of the Flood Hazard Identification and Mapping Program (FHIMP). |
